1. All correspondence will be done via email, for quick enquiries and updates Whatsapp correspondence will be acceptable 
  2. All documents need to be sent via email to paperplanesolo.va@gmail.com in PDF format
  3. Payments to the SACAA need to be paid by the client directly, the proof of payment can be mailed to Paper Plane Administrative
  4. The SACAA forms can be found on the SACAA website
  5. The SACAA consent form (CA 183-540) will need to be completed for me to assist you with your application
  6. Incomplete paperwork will not be sent to the SACAA until the outstanding documents are provided 
  7. Make sure the paperwork is correct and complete in accordance with the list of requirements mailed to you before submitting it, If there are any mistakes/incomplete paperwork, it will not be sent to the SACAA until it has been corrected by the client
  8. Corrections on SACAA forms need to be signed by the pilot and instructor (where applicable)
  9. Make sure your medical is valid before submitting the paperwork
  10. ‘Certified true’ documents need to be certified correct by the pilot 
  11. For any additional paperwork or SACAA-related enquiries over and above the services quoted  and agreed on, there will be an additional administration fee
  12. Paper Plane Administrative will not be held accountable for any errors made on the application forms or negligence from the pilot / ATO’s side
  13. Logbook summaries & endorsements need to comply with the layout in Appendix A of the SACAA Technical Standards
  14. For all initial applications a full logbook summary is required, for revalidations, a 12-month summary is required dating back exactly 12 months from the date of the skills test
  15. No tipex is allowed on any documentation
  16. Revalidation tests which are done after the licence expiry date needs to be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from an instructor at the ATO where the training was conducted
  17. If outstanding forms are not received by Paper Plane Administrative with enough time to send the documents to the SACAA within the required 30-day period, Paper Plane Administrative will not be held accountable for any cost or lapsed application forms. You will receive confirmation from me once your paperwork has been submitted, if you have not received confirmation the paperwork has not been sent.
  18. If Paper Plane Administrative fails to assist a client with the service agreed on and paid for by its user, the administration fee will be refunded to the client. There will be no refund for licences/ratings already approved by the SACAA
  19. Paper Plane Administrative cannot access your card licence, make sure all the details and dates are correct by logging into the SACAA portal. Click on this link should you require assistance with this. 
  20. Should you require courier collection this needs to be communicated and will require an additional fee. A physical address for delivery or the name of a Courier Guy branch needs to be provided
  21. Courier collections from the SACAA are on Tuesdays and Thursdays only
  22. Courier collections will only be arranged once confirmation has been received that the licence is ready for collection
  23. Paper Plane Administrative will not take responsibility for documents lost or delayed by courier services
  24. The average time for the SACAA to issue a licence/rating is between 7-14 working days, Paper Plane Administrative will follow up on the status of the licence on behalf of the client no earlier than 7 days after submission to the SACAA
  25. Paper Plane Administrative undertakes to keep client personal information private, and it will not be shared with anyone outside of the SACAA, couriers or auditors. 
  26. Paper Plane Administrative will store your application documents electronically for three months, it is your responsibility to retain these documents should you need them in the future. 
  27. Invoices are to be settled within seven (7) days upon delivery of the agreed service
  28. An additional fee of R40 will be charged for all payments made to the SACAA on behalf of the client.

Email correspondence receives priority over all other means of communication.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9h-15h, any communication outside of these hours will normally be dealt with on the next working day unless agreed in advance
